The ICS Department is seeking lecturers to teach various undergraduate courses in the 2017-2018 academic year. Please join our lecturer pool for consideration!

Salary Information: Minimum $1486.00 per credit hour, commensurate with experience.

Other Conditions:

For placement in lecturer pool beginning Fall 2017 and for future semesters. Positions are part-time, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funds. Day and/or evening classes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate courses in the Department of Information and Computer Sciences. (Courses offered by the department are listed at: http://www.catalog.hawaii.edu/courses/departments/ics.htm).
  • Other related duties, including preparing course syllabi, grading, maintaining weekly office hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • PhD in Computer Science or closely related field.
  • Knowledge in appropriate field as evidenced by coursework.
  • Prior relevant university teaching experience in the field.
