ICS2004-12-02: Using AOP to Improve Hackystat Telemetry Analysis Performance, Kou, Hongbing & Zhang, Qin, Collaborative Software Development Laboratory

Abstract: Hackystat is a system that provides automated support for collecting and analyzing software development product and process metrics. The analysis service is provided through web interface of Hackystat server, which can be quite complex. This paper discusses how we use Aspect-Oriented Programming(AOP) techniques to implement a high-level cache for Hackystat telemetry analysis and reports empirical evaluation results on system throughput.
