Summer Job Opportunities in Renewable Energy!
Undergraduate jobs through the REIS project
The REIS Project has a variety of exciting summer job opportunities
available for UH engineering and computer science undergraduates who
are interested in
renewable energy and island sustainability. You can find descriptions of the projects and ways you can be involved at: http://reis.manoa.hawaii.edu/projects.
To
apply, first read through the project descriptions and decide which
one(s) you are interested in. You can indicate an interest in up to
three projects.
Next, create a two page PDF document containing your application.
The first page should include the following:
- Your name, address, contract phone number, and contact email.
- Your weekday hours of availability during the week for June - August, 2009. Please indicate any planned vacations or other commitments.
- The projects for which you would like to be considered. (Limit: 3)
- A brief description of your background and/or interests in engineering, and/or computer science, and/or renewable energy.
The second page should be a resume, and include the names of two references (with phone and email address).
Please email your PDF document as an attachment to Philip Johnson (johnson@hawaii.edu).
Applications will be considered as they are received, and will be accepted until all positions are filled. Please submit your applications soon!
