Seminar: Beth Liebert, "Engineering Careers: Product Management at Google"

Curious about what it's like to work for a big tech company on internet services? Beth Liebert, who grew up in Honolulu and studied engineering at Stanford, will give a brief overview of what it's like to be a Product Manager at Google.

Passionate about building things, working with people and solving real human problems, but not sure you want to be an engineer? Curious about what it's like to work for a big tech company on internet services? Beth Liebert, who grew up in Honolulu and studied engineering at Stanford, will give a brief overview of what it's like to be a Product Manager at Google, where she has worked on a variety of products including Search, Analytics, and Maps. The setting will be informal, will include a basic presentation on some sample projects and challenges, with Q&A to follow.

Beth Liebert is a Product Manager for Google Maps.  She received her B.S. in Product Design and Mechanical Engineering from Stanford in 2005.  She has been a project lead at IDEO as well as at Google, Inc.
