Software Engineer Position

Engineer to utilize a broad array of tools combined with enterprise platform knowledge and experience to build out applications surrounding content management. Engineer will have the opportunity to work with open source and market-leading commercial technologies. Candidate should have a strong desire to provide the highest quality problem resolution while mindful of project timelines.  Applicant will be joining an established, successful team and will be expected to learn quickly on the job. Position also requires good communication and interpersonal skills.
 
Desired Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors (or Bachelors in progress) in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering (or other IT related field)

• Programming Languages: Java, Javascript, Visual Basic / VB Script
• Understanding of Object Oriented concepts
• SQL
• Experience with XML, XSLT, XSD/DTD
• Application server or Servlet Container experience (admin or use of): BEA Weblogic, Apache Tomcat, JBoss
• Database experience (programming, admin or use of) Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL
• Familiarity and understanding of Web Application Frameworks: Apache Struts, Sun Java Server Faces
• Familiarity and understanding of Web Services: Apache SOAP, Apache Web Services
• Ability to compose Technical Documentation
• Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture
